Jim Grubbs is a 1967 graduate of Chofu High School.

After returning stateside, Jim worked at WMRY and WCBW in St. Louis, WSMI and WMAY in central Illinois, and was a member of the team that successfully placed 50,000 watt commercial FM station WNNS on the air in Springfield, Illinois.

When they let him, Jim teaches a variety of communication courses at a variety of institutions. His passion remains rock and roll music.
